Clean Sweep Chimney Services

At CSI we pride ourselves on a professional clean/friendly and efficient service.

As a registered member of HETAS, we are qualified to install and commission solid fuel appliances, such as log burners and fireplaces.

Many things can happen if the chimney/flue is not swept, the most common being a build-up of soot, tar and a substance called creosote. These build ups will then reduce the diameter of your chimney, reducing the effectiveness of your fireplace/stove, and more importantly not allowing the poisonous gases to pass through. There is also a big risk of a chimney fire.

We also provide a service for stoves if the glass, rope seal and door gasket seal need replacing. Also if you would like your stove looking like new we provide a full stove polish.

If you are having problems with birds, then give us a call and we can fit a cowl/bird guard to prevent birds creating a nest and filling your chimney with twigs. Also if you have problems with rain going down your chimney, down-draught or require a cowl to help with the up-draught then we can fit the correct cowl for you.

We carry out many chimney repairs, if you have a leak, you may need a pot and cowl, or the lead flashing needs replacing, we also carry our full re-pointing of chimneys and chimney removals.
