General information

With a degree in Furniture and Product design from The Royal Danish School of Design, designer and rising print star Maxjenny Forlund never thought she would be a fashion designer.

Despite her Scandinavien roots maxjenny! (2013) has an international language with characteristic silhuettes and bright colors. The collections consists of clean lines and hand-made prints she draws herself with unique details and mixed fabrics in a stylistic and international character.

Maxjenny! creates everyday wear in loads of colors made from high-quality materials from her store and showroom in the hip area Koedbyen in Copenhagen, Denmark. The area reflects the brand with its vibrant atmosphere and multi-cultural feeling. With an open-minded approach to things, maxjenny! inspiration comes from the art of living with colors.

I would describe my design as life at its best, translated into patterns and prints and interpreted into cuts to complete unique garments. When it comes to production I rely on tradition. My clothes are made in small factories where clothes been produced for decades.

I want to invite you to a colorful place. Let’s celebrate the odd and the unique, the fabulous and the fantastic and lets have fun and not take things too seriously.
