The Sailing World Championships is the principal qualification event for the Olympic Sailing Competition. It is held every four years. More than 1.500 sailors from around 100 countries is expected in the Bay of Aarhus in 2018. Besides Worlds The City of Aarhus invites to a giant maritime festival on shore with experiences and entertainment all through the week.
VM i sejlsport bliver den største internationale idrætsbegivenhed, der nogensinde er blevet afviklet i Aarhus. Der forventes flere end 1500 sejlere fra op mod 100 lande, når Aarhusbugten i 2018 danner ramme om VM for de olympiske bådklasser.
