Globalhagen Hostel - Come meet the World under one roof!

Globalhagen Hostel is the first hostel in Copenhagen that is built, designed and driven by volunteers. All profits go to the humanitarian organization Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke / Action Aid Denmark and their projects in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Not two square meters are the same and in each room there are sounds, colors and designs from all over the World. Globalhagen is furnished with recycled materials and the rooms are named and inspired by countries such as Palestine, Myanmar, Zambia and El Salvador.

Run by Volunteers
Globalhagen Hostel is driven by people from all strives of life including all ages, gender and nationalities that use their spare time to work for a good cause. The volunteers are thoroughly trained in managing a hostel and they are ready to serve you in any area you might need help. If you have any questions about Copenhagen or Nørrebro, please ask the volunteers – they know the city and also which cultural offers and other exciting experiences that are available in the local area.

Non-profit: Stay here and support a good cause
Globalhagen Hostel is managed by the NGO “Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke/Action Aid Denmark”. It is a federation of people from over 40 countries that collaborate on strengthening human rights and eradicating poverty. All profits go to Action Aid Denmark’s projects and partners in Africa, The Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
