Im Theater der Caroline Neuber wurde im Jahre 1737 in Leipzig die Vertreibung des Clowns, als symbolischer Akt, durch Prof. Gottsched vorgenommen.
Wir haben ihn zurück geholt und ihm hier in Leipzig ein neues zu Hause gegeben.
Hier im Museum zeigen wir die großen der der Clownzunft anhand von Zeitungsartikel, Fotos, Filmaufnahmen und Figuren.
Wir zeigen was ihre Besonderheiten waren und womit sie die Menschen über viele Jahre begeistert haben.
