Das Corps Saxonia wurde am 6. Juni 1832 gegründet. Es verbindet seine Mitglieder unter dem Wappenspruch Furchtlos und Treu. Entstehungskeim war der Gedanke des solidarischen füreinander Einstehens - noch heute integraler Bestandteil des Bündnisses. Als Verbindungsfarben wurden hellblau-weiß-schwarz gewählt.
