Die Stiftung Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig (GfZK) ist ein Ausstellungshaus für internationale und nationale zeitgenössische Kunst und ein Museum für Kunst nach 1945.

Wenn Sie die Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig besuchen, haben Sie mehrere Optionen: Sie können Ausstellungen zu wichtigen, mitunter auch umstrittenen Fragen der Gegenwartskunst besuchen, an einem der innovativen Vermittlungsprogramme teilnehmen, mit KünstlerInnen und KuratorInnen diskutieren, sich mit anderen im Café oder im Garten treffen oder in der Bibliothek die neuesten Publikationen zur zeitgenössischen Kunst lesen. Der Museumsshop bietet Außergewöhnliches von lokalen DesignerInnen und hauseigene Editionen von bedeutenden zeitgenössischen KünstlerInnen. Café, Garten, Bibliothek und Shop sind von KünstlerInnen konzipiert und gestaltet – wie die zwei Hotelzimmer Hotel Paris Syndrom und Hotel Volksboutique oder das Café bau bau.

A visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Leipzig provides you with several alternatives: You can visit the exhibitions dealing with important, sometimes controversial questions of contemporary art, take part in one of the innovative mediation programmes, hold discussions with artists and curators, meet your friends in the café or garden or read the latest publications on contemporary art in the library. The museum shop has unusual products by local designers and the GfZK´s own editions of famous contemporary artists on sale. The café, garden, library and shop were all planned and designed by artists, as was the hotel Paris Syndrome and Hotel Volksboutique or the Café bau bau.
