Lindenauer Hafen Company Information
General information
Der Lindenauer Hafen liegt ca. 4,5 km westlich des Stadtzentrums. Er verbindet die gründerzeitliche Stadt mit dem Stadtteil Grünau. Ursprünglich war der Hafen als Teil des Karl-Heine-Kanals und des Leipzig-Saale-Kanals geplant, doch der letztere wurde nie fertig gestellt. Der Karl-Heine-Kanal ist heute eine wichtige Grünachse und Wasserverbindung in der Stadt. Entlang seines Laufs führen attraktive Rad- und Fußwege ins Zentrum.
