General information
Wir sind ein Amateurtheater mit aktuell 65 Mitgliedern im Alter von 7 bis 90 Jahren. Hiervon sind knapp 50 aktiv Mitwirkende und 15 unterstützende, sogenannte passive Mitglieder. Amateur-Theater wurde 1925 gegründet und ist als gemeinnützig anerkannter Verein im Vereinsregister eingetragen. Mit unseren Theaterstücken wollen wir einen aktiven Beitrag zum Erhalt der plattdeutschen Sprache und Kultur in Hamburg leisten und verstehen uns als kultureller Bestandteil in dieser Szenerie (siehe Chronik).
