General information
HDPERU is an independent production company founded in 2012 by filmmakers Alvaro and Diego Sarmiento, based between Cuzco and villages along the Amazon river.
HDPERU produce films focused in the defense of native peoples’ rights and environmental conservation. Two of our films screened previously at the Berlinale: EARTH’S CHILDREN (Generation 2014) and SONIA’S DREAM (Culinary Cinema 2015); San Sebastian and Sydney.
HDPERU debut feature film GREEN RIVER. THE TIME OF THE YAKURUNAS was premiered at the 67th Berlin Film Festival - Forum.
