General information

We provide private luxury sailing charters. It would be a private day or sunset sail on the water for you and your guests.

We pride ourselves on offering amazing food, great beverages and unsurpassed service. Our most popular lunch option is fresh ceviche, mixed seafood/ beef/ chicken skewers and shrimp stuffed avocados. Our beverage service is typically sangria, margaritas and national beer.

Your day can include sailing, whale watching, anchoring for a swim/ snorkel, paddle boarding, going to a private beach to relax etc. If it’s more relaxation/ decompressing that you are looking for we can simply sail across the bay, anchor for lunch and then sail all the way back.

As it’s a private charter the experience is yours to create, it can be as simple as hoisting the sails, kicking back with a cold drink and letting us take care of everything or you are welcome to participate in any and all sailing activities like hoisting the sails, adjusting them while underway, driving and letting us be your fun ambassadors and crew.

We sail out of Marina Riviera Nayarit on the north shore of the bay so your group will be able to have all new experiences including new snorkelling areas and heading into private beaches if you chose. The water is much shallower here which allows us to to anchor closer to the shore and enjoy beaches which are much more sandy. We normally leave the dock around 11am and return by 6pm. for day charters and 4pm to 7:30pm for sunset charters depending on the time of year. As this is a private charter we are able to customize departure times based on your expectations. I suggest these times as there is normally more wind and after all we want to sail and not motor around.

How we are different!

• Along with the snorkelling equipment we carry a paddle board and a motorized dinghy to allow access to beaches and better snorkelling locations

• Sailboat charters out of Marina Vallarta motor around with their sails up and there isn’t any real sailing as there is no wind on that side of the bay. This typically causes a very uncomfortable experience (rocking and rolling) as ocean swell is not impeded by the shoreline. We have done numerous charters there and I speak from experience.

• The north side of the bay is sheltered and we can anchor for lunch and snorkelling/ swimming. On the north coast there are numerous sandy beaches/ better snorkelling and consistent wind. South shore is too deep to anchor and the beaches are all rocky.

• We provide an amazing catered lunch and much better beverage options, not coronas and chips/ salsa.

• We carry 1 million USD/ per guest insurance and all USCG required safety equipment, not minimum liability.

• Our insurance allows all of our guests to actively participate in all sailing duties including driving. Our skippers/ crew have a combined 50+ years instructing/ coaching so we can teach the correct curriculum should you want to learn while out enjoying your day.
