The Magic of Design Furniture & Interior Design (corporation name Mc Mar Designs SA de CV) was started by Luh and Moises in 2005. Luh has worked in the interior design field since 1987 and in Cozumel since 2000. Luh's background is high end interior design. She worked at Carole Korn Interiors that had offices in Miami, Fisher Island, Naples and Boca Raton, Florida. Moises spent twenty years as a dive master and dive instructor. Ask to see the articles written about him in magazines like Sport Diver. He now stays above ground providing the blinds and shades for fabulous window treatments and supervising the installers for the business.

Luh and Moises provide a one stop shop to select high quality furniture, draperies, blinds, fabrics, lamps, accessories and art in one location. Interior design services are included when you buy at The Magic of Design. They are bilingual and import most but not all of the items in the store. Clients are able to work with Luh from other countries by email including budgets in excel and powerpoint presentations. Many clients see their unit furnished and meet Luh and Moises at the same time. The entire process can be done long distance.
