Total Colostrum. How we found it's superiorty.

Our story starts back in 2008 when my wife , Kirsty, was rushed to Whangarei hospital as she was rapidly going blind and had this terrible swelling pain behind her eyes. Her back & neck were agony. She thought at the time she was dying.

After many tests to eliminate other scary things like brain tumors, the Doctors were talking about it being Optic Neuritis but were waiting on the MRI report to give them the full answer. They were optimistic that soon Kirsty would be over this episode and back to normal. After all , at 30 with 4 kids you are too young to contemplate anything else.

Unfortunately the results of the MRI revealed multiple scarring on her brain which indicated that this bout of Optic Neuritis was now diagnosed as Multiple Sclerosis.
This was bad news as we had already done some research and this was a disease that you don't want at all.

Multiple Sclerosis is an Auto Immune disease of the Central Nervous System, it gets progressively worse as the protective lining coating your nerves like insulation on wires gets inflamed and worn off. You get extreme fatigue from the brain working so hard to send simple commands down these damaged pathways. Sometimes the command can even get mixed up like getting your wires crossed with no insulation between them. These are embarrassing moments for MS sufferers.

"You need to take Colostrum powder, it helps the immune system" this was an oft repeated bit of advice so we heeded it.

We bought NZ made "pure" Colostrum. It did't seem to quite be the miracle that all our friends talked about so we switched to another NZ supplier of NZ Colostrum. The results were similar which actually did nothing to stop the decline in her health so we stopped wasting our money.

Things were progressing downhill pretty fast with frequent hospitalizations, increasing amounts of time in wheelchairs & walking frames. This was pretty hard on a young family.

Here in NZ where our dairy industry is focused on milk , the colostrum is collected over the first few days into a vat which when all mixed together equates to an average of day 3 colostrum. This is very low in potency although the IgG level may still be at 20%. The strength of these antibodies is very weak compared to day 1 colostrum.

So we both continue to take Colostrum MAX. It didn't just help Kirsty overcome fatigue, it sorted out her long standing bowel issues too.
