Rangitikei Farmstay is located half way between Wellington and Taupo, situated on a large sheep and beef farm. "Tyrone" has been in the Stewart family since 1901 and today runs around 2500 ewes & 300 cows. In 2008 the forth generation of Stewart's (Andrew & Kylie) created an authentic farmstay which today can sleep up to 22 guests. RF offers a large range of activities both on and off the farm including feeding friendly animals, farm tours,pony rides, shearing and mustering demonstrations, claybird shooting, hole in one golf plus, wine tours (see our website for full details) RF is also the home of The Mudder, an annual mud run/walk over the farm.
