Giles Carpets Ltd has been selling top quality carpets and vinyl to both our residential and commercial customers for over 36 years now!

Established in 1981, Kevin Giles began a small shop in White Swan Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland. Over the next 20 years, constant growth and expansion saw them occupy all four shops in the block and the warehouse underneath. Eventually, even this wasn’t enough to meet this ever growing business! In 2000 Giles Carpets Ltd relocated to a new showroom in Stoddard Road, Mt Roskill for a 10 year period.

In 2010 we decided to buy our own building and we moved to 52 Carr Road, Mt Roskill. It’s smaller but warmer and more user friendly with plenty of parking at the front.

THE GILES CARPETS TEAM

Giles Carpets is very much a family business. About 16 years ago one of Kevin’s younger brothers, Philip, was employed as a Salesman. He was a minister for 15 years previously, and has a very friendly personality. He has been taught how to measure, quote and everything there is to know about the different carpets we sell. Then 9 years ago another brother, Allen, started working for us as Shop Manager, and is the 1st person you usually meet when you come into the shop.

Reliable Roger is another salesman who has now been with Giles Carpets for over 16 years. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Roger can handle it all!
