創業 安政元年（一八五四年）浅草寺の別院・梅園院の一隅に茶屋をひらいたのが始まりで、屋号梅園もそのゆかりである。初代は元祖あわぜんざいで好評を博し、東京名物となり、以来一六〇余年甘味処として伝統を継承してきた
