明治時代の中頃から、小田原のかまぼこ屋を取りまとめる同業者の会ができ、それが現在のかまぼこ組合の始まりです。
昭和４１年（１９６６年）１２月１０日に『小田原蒲鉾水産加工業協同組合』として正式に発足し、今日まで様々な活動を行い、小田原かまぼこの発展に貢献してきました。
しかし時代の流れとともに、組合員数も減少し、現在では『小田原蒲鉾協同組合』として活動を行なっております。
