UCALは1988年からパソコンのシステムを開発してきたパソコンシステムのエキスパートです。その当時は現在のようにパソコンは普及していず、MS－DOSというOSで（現在はMS－WINDOWS）ハードウェアはNEC製PC９８シリーズが主流でした。そのころのソフトハウスのほとんどが、オフコンと呼ばれる大型機のソフトウェア製作をしており、パソコンは一部のマニアのおもちゃとしか捉えられていませんでした。
そのころから、UCALはいずれパソコンソフトがビジネスソフトの主流になると考え、パソコンOnlyで開発を続けてまいりました。その16年間でつちかったパソコンの技術を駆使して、お客様にとって、コストが低く、短納期で、最も使いやすいシステムを提供いたします。ここで、ソフトウェアとシステムの違いを考えて見ましょう。ソフトウェアとは
