今では考えられないほど時間がゆっくりと流れていた時代。
ひとの生活に木はすごく密着したものであった。
建物、生活の道具ひとつひとつなんでもだ。
リサイクルの仕事は、そんな古民家、古道具に出会う事がある。
大半が、解体、廃棄されてしまう現状。
無垢の木でできたその表情は当時の人々の生活、環境、
作り上げた職人の知恵など、
様々な思いを感じることができる。
決してすぐに作り出すことができない長い時間が作った表情。
木が育った時間、材木となって人の生活を支えた時間。
その時間を感じつつ新たにゆっくりとした時間を刻むものを作る。
自分達で、古材、廃材を集めその表情を活かした額縁・家具を製作する。
役目を終えたモノを新たにヒトへと繋げていく事が社会的使命である。
