福井真珠掌握全方位珍珠知識。從養殖珍珠種子，珍珠養殖技術，珍珠成長過程,首飾製作，產品保養，等等。亦深入了解到養殖珍珠對於海洋生態環境及本地民生的正面影響。

傳統珠寶商及傳媒給予大眾有關珍珠的形象都是高貴，華麗及傳統的感覺，只適合上流社會名媛或是在重要場合，如婚禮，才可配戴的飾物。我們現希望結合本地時裝首飾設計師的創 意，讓珍珠不再以傳統珠寶面貌展現於人前，而是告訴眾人珍珠如人般都可以有不同風格。始終，珍珠不一定是圓的。

福井真珠現於本港水域養殖珍珠。希望公眾不需要再去到菲律賓，大溪地或澳洲，都有機會去參與結合海洋保育，生態旅遊及珠寶為一體的體驗活動。

“The Pearl Farm” is Hong Kong’s one and only pearl specialty chain store. It is established in 1996. The main business would be to sell sea water cultured pearls from around the world. The Pearl Farm is also the only local pearl farmer in Hong Kong.

The Pearl Farm possesses an all-round knowledge and experience about pearls. This includes cultured pearl nuclei, pearl cultivation techniques, pearl growth process, accessory creation, product maintenance, and so on. We also understand how pearl cultivation positively affects the marine ecology and the local community.

Jewelry dealers and media generally promote pearls to be exquisite, high-class, and traditional. They are normally perceived to be worn only by those of who are rich and famous or during special occasions, like wedding. However, we hope to collaborate with local fashion accessory designers. By mixing with their creativity, we do not want to present pearls as a traditional jewelry accessory, but to show that pearls, like humans, can also be presented in a variety of styles. After all, pearls are not always round.

The Pearl Farm is currently cultivating pearls in Hong Kong waters. We hope that the local no longer need to travel to faraway places like Philippines, French Polynesia or Australia, but can stay in Hong Kong and participate an activity that combines marine conservation, eco-tourism, and jewelry.
