「鯉魚潭拱橋」對於熱愛拍攝火車及鐵道題材的朋友應該不陌生。這座長790公尺橫跨了山與山之間的鯉魚潭拱橋，是台鐵山線中最重要的一個工程之一；在鐵道迷眼中，更是追拍火車的聖地。依循著網路上的資訊，我們開著車從三義交流道下之後，沿著省道銜接上了往三義鄉鯉魚潭村的苗52鄉間小道前近，其實下交流道不久後就可見鯉魚潭拱橋蹤跡，地理位置不算難找，但要真的找到一個能夠俯視整個鯉魚潭拱橋及河谷平原的地方就真的有難度了。
