Indo Japan Apparels, a prestigious collaboration crowning the progressive Indo-Japan partnership, is a joint venture between Devi Exports Corporation (Devi Exports) of India and Mitsui & Co., Ltd., (Mitsui) of Japan; and Mitsui Asia Investment (P) Ltd., Singapore.

A fruit of the unrelenting, pioneering initiatives of Mr. A R Mani, a respected industrialist and the Chairman of Devi Group, the joint venture is striving to establish a global market for the "Made in India" garments with the endorsement of Japanese quality.

Mitsui

Mitsui is Japan's largest sogo shosha, or general trading company and the groups is made up of a large number of Japan's leading companies. Its diverse international business functions have been a prime motivating force in Japan's economic advancement and have also contributed to the expansion of the global economy.

Managed by Mr. Ravi kumar, who has an extensive expertise in garment manufacturing technology and thanks to his extended training in Japan, Indo Japan Apparels has become the first enterprise in India to introduce many a cutting-edge Japanese technologies, such as the Japanese production method in the apparel production line.

Our Design team is committed throughout the year, bringing out innovative designs in compliance with the latest fads of the season for the European and the US markets. Our designs are perfected with the feedback we receive from the market, thus making them more market-friendly. We spend more than 5 % of our turnover for the design team, which emphasizes our interest in providing premium service to our clients.

Our manufacturing centre is located in the Madras Export Processing Zone - Special Economic Zone, Chennai. We operate from a 2000 sq.m built-up area, which has a reserve for another 2000 sq.m for future expansion.

We deploy latest machinery in every production stage for cutting, sewing and finishing. We would also like to highlight that we utilize laser-light technology for matching; band knife machines for accurate and precision cutting of fabrics and interlinings.

Our sewing section has sophisticated servo-motor machines with automatic, computer-controlled under bed trimmers and a modernized washing plant with washing machine, hydro extractor and dyer.

We have a dedicated team that makes sure your needs are identified and met - providing you with your choice of fabric texture and weave, exact preference of color, pattern, etc. Each fabric undergoes a complete quality check done by experienced technicians under the direct supervision of experts, exclusively trained for the same in Japan.
