General information

Coirflex has a rich tradition in coir Industry, which spans about two generations, almost as old as the Kerala's coir industry itself. Founded by Mr. G.Sukumaran who was a visionary beyond par, Coirflex drew on the tradition and experience, handed down by generations, all the while perfecting it, in tune with changing times.

Coirflex was the first ever to introduce a mechanized de-fibring unit, in this range around the year 1950. This was aptly complemented by the penchant for quality and the yen for product diversification. An uncompromising stand on quality and proactive service swiftly turned Coirflex into a favourite in the value-driven markets of Europe, America, Australia, Middle East, Japan, Far East, South Africa, NewZealand, Australia etc.
